Government of Uganda from the onset made education a core national priority and has since made significant improvement, particularly in enrolment rates including doubling-up on financing both with the personnel and infrastructure. This has tremendously improved and made secondary education more accessible and affordable. However, there has never been a better time than now for all actors to sit on a round table to isolate, reflect and act on several persistent issues that chronically threaten to derail progress.
